• Operating Hours Monday -Friday: 5 AM-9 PM

• Operating Hours Saturday - Sunday: 7 AM-9 PM

• Day Parts: Opening, Morning Mid, Afternoon Mid, Closing

Job Description

Alfonso's Coffee is hiring Baristas for our Altoona location.

The Barista is responsible for creating a welcoming and positive experience for every customer while contributing to the vibrant community Alfonso's Coffee serves. This role includes preparing a wide range of beverages and food with care and consistency, maintaining a clean and organized environment, and actively participating in operational tasks. The Barista supports an energetic, community-focused atmosphere and ensures high standards of quality and service are upheld at all times.

Responsibilities: 

• Bringing your best energy in every day

• Operating in a fast-paced environment

• Preparing all beverages & food in accordance with Food Safety requirements

• Making consistent beverages & food

• Prepare customized beverages & food with care

• Welcome drive-thru and walk-in customers

• Accurately process payment and provide change when needed 

Qualifications:

• Pursuing or having a high school diploma 

• Reliable transportation

• Willing to learn and grow 

• Able to work in a team environment

• Ability to work both indoors and outside in controlled and uncontrolled environments

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

• Previous experience in hospitality is preferred, but not required

Compensation: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour + tips
